Chateau Montreux is a lovely home on top of Snowshoe Mountain. The on-call van service will whisk you to and from the slopes or the village in just a few minutes. Expansive mountain views make this retreat a joy to return to after a day of skiing. Relax in the hot tub or prepare a gourmet meal in the spacious kitchen. Chateau Montreux is the perfect destination for a relaxing and fun-filled get-away. Things you'll love:
- Lounging in the hot tub over-looking the mountain vistas while the snow falls around you.
- Great Connectivity. 100MB fiber-optic high-speed internet is both fast and reliable and supports Wifi calling from your cell phone. ROKU devices on each TV provide Netflix and Amazon viewing (use your own account).
- FREE On-Call Van. The on-call van service is GREAT! Just call them and they'll arrive in about 5-10 minutes at the end of the driveway and take you to various slopes or Snowshoe Village. Call them from your cell or ask any merchant to call the van for you to be taken back to Montreux. No need to drive anywhere! The Van runs from 8am-midnight weekdays and 8am to 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
- House layout: You'll enter from the driveway to the 3rd floor that provides a kitchen, dining room, living area, and two bedrooms (1 shared bath). Walk up to the fourth floor to find two bedrooms, each with an en-suite bath.  The second floor has a game room, lounge area, full kitchen, one bedroom with a full bath in the hall. The lowest level has four bedrooms and two full baths. 

You'll have use of the entire house which includes 9 bedrooms, 6 full baths, two living areas, two kitchens, two decks, a hot tub, and 2 acres of woodland.
Montreux is a short distance to Shey's Revenge (8/10ths mi) and Top of the World (1/2 mi). The on-call van will scoot you to either spot in minutes, or you can walk if you prefer. Montreux uses professional cleaning and maintenance services to ensure your stay is exceptional. All linens and towels are professionally sanitized after each guest departure. The hot tub is cleaned and serviced by a professional, trained technician after every stay. A local care-taker is available to address any maintenance issues that arise during your stay.
- Easy Access. Most homes at Snowshoe have steep driveways that can be a challenge even for four-wheel-drive vehicles. At Montreux, the driveway has a modest slope that is maintained by a plowing service. Front-wheel drive vehicles are usually ok, but if we get a big snow, getting anywhere on the mountain will be a challenge without all-wheel drive.
- Parking: you can fit 8 cars in two rows of four.
